Accessibility
A site that does not assume how you read it.
Standard
We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA across every page, and AAA on color contrast wherever the design allows it. Where a brand color falls short of AA on a given background, we use a deeper text-safe companion of the same color.
Keyboard navigation
Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard. The Tab order mirrors the visual order. Focus rings are visible, two pixels in silk coral, four-pixel offset.
Screen readers
We label icons with aria-label, decorative images with alt=“”, and structural regions with semantic HTML. The home page has been walked by a screen reader before publication.
Reduced motion
We respect prefers-reduced-motion. The single hero animation on the home page is disabled when that preference is set. There is no parallax. There are no auto-playing videos.
Type and reading
Body text is set at 17 to 18 pixels with 1.65 line-height. We do not size text below this except in mono captions and footnotes. Headlines are serif, body is sans, and italic is reserved for the operative noun in a sentence.
