Terms of service

The terms, in plain language.

What Parachute is

Parachute, Inc. operates a software service that helps families of autistic adults document, share, and inherit a protocol of care. By using Parachute, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. The master Key we issue to a parent is exactly that: a master credential. Do not share it. Do not photograph it. If you suspect compromise, contact us and we will revoke and reissue.

What Parachute is not

Parachute is not a substitute for medical, legal, or behavioral advice. It is a workshop for the protocols families and clinicians already build. We do not diagnose. We do not prescribe. We do not replace human judgment.

Subscriptions

Paid tiers (Family, Family Plus, Provider, Enterprise) renew monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel anytime. On cancellation, your Parachute reverts to the Free tier and your data remains yours.

Acceptable use

Do not use Parachute to harm a person being supported. Do not use another family's Parachute without their explicit consent. Do not impersonate a clinician you are not. We reserve the right to suspend an account that violates these terms, and we will tell you why.

Liability

Parachute is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate, available, and secure. We cannot guarantee that a third-party caregiver will follow a protocol exactly. The protocol is a tool, not an actor.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will email every account holder at least 30 days before they take effect. You can always view the current terms at this URL.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes are resolved by arbitration unless prohibited by your local law.
