What we hold, and how we hold it.
Who we are
Parachute, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corp headquartered in Southampton, New York. We make a protocol of record for families of autistic adults and the professionals who support them.
What we collect
On the marketing site, we collect nothing that identifies you. We use Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without a unique device identifier.
Inside the product, we collect what you write down: routines, contacts, notes, feelings logs, the names of the people you trust. We collect this so the workshop has something to hold. We do not sell it. We do not use it to train models. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not run advertising.
How we hold it
All Parachute data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is role-based and audited. We sign Business Associate Agreements with Provider and Enterprise customers. We treat the marketing site as a public document, and the product as a covered information system, even where the law does not require us to.
Who can see your Parachute
Only the people you give a Key to. Parachute uses a role-based permission model, with the family as the principal. Caregiver, clinician, and administrator access are downstream of family consent and can be revoked at any time. Our staff cannot see your Parachute's contents without your explicit permission.
What happens if you stop paying
Your Parachute reverts to the Free tier. You keep your data, your routines, your contacts, your audit history. Nothing is held hostage. Cancellation is exit, not deletion.
What happens if you die
The Legacy Trigger transfers ownership of your Parachute to the successor you have named, on the conditions you have set. The plan continues. We do not retain control of an inherited Parachute beyond the ordinary terms a successor would receive.
Your rights
You can export your Parachute at any time, in standard formats. You can ask us to delete your account and your data. Where required by law (CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA covered communications), we honor those rights as a baseline, not a maximum.
